In this lesson, we examine the many pressures that we can face as performers, both internally and externally. We will look at specific people, thoughts, and emotions that add pressure and uncover ways we can manage this pressure to maintain optimal performance.

In this lesson, we will discuss the various relationships an athlete may have, parent, coach, and teammates, and how these relationships can impact our performance. This section also provides information for parents and coaches on how to coach their child or player to sustain confidence and pleasure rather than tearing it down.

Lesson 5: Responding to Adversity

This lesson includes the many setbacks and challenges an athlete may face, such as injury, having a bad coach, getting cut from your team, and more. Most importantly, you will learn how to mentally manage these hardships in a healthy way through techniques and practices.

Lesson 6: Consistent Optimal Performance

In this last lesson, we will discuss ways we can consistently perform at our highest level, such as setting short-term and long-term goals. We also discuss the very important topic of motivation and how we can stay motivated even in times of challenge or even triumph.
